Testimonials by the Pros
"Every good coach knows the key to improvement is timely, constructive feedback of a player's performance. This isn't always possible when a player is working on skills on their own... until now! Hockeyshot's Extreme Radar allows players to see their improvement in shot power first hand from accurate and timely speed readings! Players can set goals based on this feedback in order to kick their shot power up a couple of km's or miles based on their progress. Empower any power today with the ability to self-coach with the Hockeyshot's Extreme Radar product for their at home or on ice development sessions!"
-Jim Vitale, Hockey Instructor
"HockeyShot's Extreme Radar is portable, flexible, and (most importantly) accurate. The unit readings are right in line with the units selling for 10x the price. We love the functionality of being able to switch between mph and kph depending on where we are doing our training. HockeyShot made the most enjoyable element of training simple and affordable with their Extreme Radar! "

Easy to set up, although the tripod seems a little low.

The first one was defective and the second unit works well. I do find that the readings can be a little random, meaning that an obvious harder shot does not always get reflected as an increase on the radar. The recommended setup for the unit, behind the net and straight back from the shooting location, is not what is shown in many videos. Videos often show the unit beside the net but that conflicts what the manual says. For the money, it probably works at well as it should but I am not sure that I would purchase it again.

Well, because it shows how fast your shots are, and you can go up to 130, I think. -Jake, 7

Because it’s cool that it records your speed , but it sometimes does not record it.

Great product. Seems to be the same radar gun others sell on eBay for a bit less just with a hockey shot logo on it but it works well

Needs more volume... Can't really hear it during practice at the rink or ball diamond but ok for basement or backyard.
Stand good but comes loose easily.
Tons of fun for the price though

Great product. No issues. Even speaks to you and tells you speed if by yourself. Also used for a jack and Jill hardest shot competition. Turned out great

Tough to position properly in the net without needing some extra blocks to set it up. Otherwise it seems to work. Hard to tell, I always feel like I'm shooting much harder but that might be in my head.
